Personal Training

Imagine a fitter, healthier you...
One on one personal training is the most effective and efficient ways for you to get fit. However it can be daunting hiring a trainer so here's a quick guide on what you should consider.

What are your fitness and exercise goals?
This is the most important factor to have set in your mind before you look for a personal trainer, so take some time to consider what you want.

Is it to lose weight? Tone up? Are you constantly tired, lacking in energy and low spirited? Six weeks till you are at a big day; wedding, Christmas party, summer holidays...and you want to look your best?

Whatever you want from a personal trainer, make sure you have your goals fixed in mind before you contact them. You need to have a target to aim for, and more importantly, you'll be looking for a trainer to help you achieve it!

Find a trainer who has experience with your goals and watch his methods
Do you enjoy training in a class? Do you like lifting weights? Think about what you like and dislike doing. Then see if your trainer can match you to the right training methods.

Will you be able to get along with your trainer?
Do you want someone to encourage you but not shout at you? Then the military style bootcamp instructors may not be for you! You wouldn't want to spend time with someone you don't get along with and you definitely don't want to pay them! Likewise if you're looking for someone to kick (not literally, I hope) you into shape, the touchy feely style of PT will just frustrate you! So shop around and make sure you and your potential trainer click.
